Adam J Lucas is a writer and photographer developed from years of wanderlust.

In 1990 I was age 10 and newly-armed with a toy point-and-shoot camera. I carefully loaded my first roll of 35mm film into the cartoon-themed (and mostly light-proof) plastic box to take my first photograph. As I recall it had two tiny framing rectangles attached by a flimsy plastic hinge that you flipped up each time you wanted to take a shot. Cheap is an understatement but it felt like a magical power—I could pause reality for a split second and keep it as a physical memory. I feel we often take this most basic concept for granted.

Leading up to the present day, I have worked almost every job under the sun, and have also been fortunate enough to travel around the world both directions. I now reside in my home county of Essex in England.

My current focus is street photography, where I can be found roaming London to study people, architecture, and the interaction between the two.

In addition to his own content, Adam also takes on editing, proofreading, and commercial copywriting.
